ELECTRIC HOLDING AND POURING REFRACTORY FURNACE
Housed in a LPM-designed welded steel shell, the refractory furnace is lined with top-quality STRIKO WESTOFEN refractory material. Heating and temperature holding is achieved by means of 3 silicon carbide glow bars, protected against splashes of molten material by three pull-out APM radiant  tubes mado of sintered steel, removable through dedicated side hatches. The heating system guarantees continuous operation also with only two elements working.
The wide charging door of the furnace enables easy access for cleaning and maintenance operations. Locking is effected by means of a single central oversized screw. Temperature control is achieved through the use of two easily accessible thermocouples - one for bath control and one for the control of the heating elements. On request the furnace can be mounted on a trolley that allows horizontal shuttling, lifting and tilting (option).

Our furnaces are available with capacities of 800, 1000, 1200 and 1500 Kg; other capacities can be supplied on request.
